VERIFONE ANDROID X990 TERMINALS ACCEPT UNION PAY INTERNATIONAL CARDS OF ALL UKRAINIAN ISSUERS
Verifone Android X990 software from Servus Systems Integration has passed all test cases of the Union Pay International payment system and is ready for non-cash payments in the retail and service outlets, which takes place in full compliance with security and privacy standards.
“Verifone X990 terminals are not only ready to accept UPI cards, but also accept co-badge cards of this payment system, which are issued in cooperation with the national payment system PROSTIR. This once again confirms the leadership of our company in expanding the range of payment services available to acquirers of Ukraine on the latest Android terminals offered by us", - said Alexander Pranov, CEO of the company.
Issuance of co-badge cards will be interesting and profitable for Ukrainian banks, as it will provide an opportunity to diversify their product line and optimize costs, including through cheaper maintenance, as all card transactions in Ukraine are processed according to the rules and tariffs of PROSTIR.
Both payment systems see the mutually beneficial benefits of such a joint project. For the national payment system, this is a significant expansion of the PROSTIR card acceptance network and a new stage in the evolution of the system.
