Cleaning and disinfection:
  • Turn off your device

  • Unplug the appliance

  • Clean the device according to the instructions

  • Connect the appliance to the power supply after everything is dry

Verifone devices should be cleaned carefully to remove dirt, debris, or debris using a clean, microfiber cloth dampened with water. You can use one or two drops of pH-neutral detergent. Do not use solvents, harsh detergents or abrasive detergents.

After cleaning, the devices can be disinfected with an alcohol-based wipe or a suitable alcohol-based cleaner (approximately 70-90% strength of isopropyl alcohol) applied to the microfiber cloth. Apply gently; do not clean. Isopropyl alcohol applied to a clean microfiber cloth can be used on the touch panel displays, but you should never press hard on the display.

  • NEVER POUR THE LIQUID DIRECTLY ON THE DEVICE

  • Never use chlorinated lime, hydrogen peroxide, thinner, trichlorethylene or ketone solvents - they can damage plastic or rubber.

  • Refrain from vigorous cleaning or shaking of the terminal to prevent a warning about blocking the PIC terminal

  • Electrostatic discharge: refrain from vigorous wiping with a dry towel or similar actions that may cause static voltage and cause a warning to block the PIC terminal
